We're getting ready for our Don Andrews workshop - and giving everyone a fun workshop introducing Figure Drawing this month!
Figure Drawing on 25th & 26th July
We plan to have a figure drawing session at Ilona's home in Uitsig and another at a White River venue - possibly WR Primary lapa. One will be Friday afternoon and the other Saturday morning.
The programme is to have a brief figure drawing instruction followed by each of us doing 5 minute sessions posing. This will give valuable groiudnwork in figure proportions, gestures and volume, as well as an understanding of figure perspective.
We will provide:
Large Butcher paper for drawing with pencil and charcoal
Teas
You must provide:
Two large (about A0 or A1) sheets of cartridge paper or 4 x A1 or A2 sheets)

Prestick which we will use as a rubber/erasor

Large board and some bulldog clips for securing paper to board
Your own easel - or table and table easel.... or some means of propping the board so that it is angled and not flat on the table.
A cheap brush for working with ink.
Black ink
