2008 that was...

We have had a wonderful year, filled with great workshops and creativity.

We've had watercolur, pastel, acrylic and oils workshops, from Paul Botes to Don Andrews, and have gained two new Associateships (Sally Kay and Celia Wessels).

Our branch membership has grown so that it nearly doubled this year, and I would like to encourage all members to introduce friends to share in our workshops and events...the more the merrier.

Congratulations to everyone for the many little and large achievements during the course of the year. Ilona for a great achievement at inniBOS, Yvonne for her successes at Zoo Lake and other exhibitions, to name a few.

All members - you will receive a hard copy Aquarelle by Christmas and you should have received your digital (e-mailed) Branch Xmas newsletter by now.

I look forward to seeing everyone at our AGM and annual breakfast on January 17th. You will all receive invitations in due course.

In the meantime, have a wonderful Festive Season, and a safe, happy and healthy 2009.
